Medicine Buddha Glitter Candle

Buddha, in the sixth century BC, at the age of 35, invoked the earth as his witness when he attained Enlightenment. This is indicated by the fingers of his right hand in the "gesture of touching the earth."

The sun and moon stood still, and all the creatures of the world came to offer obeisance to the Supreme One sitting under the Bodhi Tree.
